Here's Trump's 4-Second Response to Cruz Picking Fiorina as VP

One of our nation’s heroes got to ask Donald Trump and Bobby Knight a question at tonight’s On the Record Indianapolis town hall – but not before the entire room rose to an emotional standing ovation.

“As an Indiana University graduate and WWII vet, I have a tremendous respect for ‘The General,’ Bobby Knight,” began the veteran, named Forest.

The legendary basketball coach responded with a teary salute.

“Mr. Trump, how would you compare your successful career and philosophy with Coach Knight?” Forest asked.

“I just love his philosophy,” said the GOP candidate.

“Bobby was, you know, in his field, a tremendous leader and what he's done is phenomenal.  So I'd like to put myself in a category even close to Bobby as far as that. You talk about the word leadership, that's leadership.”

Knight added that he and Trump are “a little bit alike in that regard.”

“If we're involved in something where we want to win, and particularly something that's necessary, if there's something out there where we need to win, we're going to try and beat your ass every time we can,” he said, triggering a huge ovation from the audience.
