The situation in Ecuador is desperate, nine days after a massive magnitude-7.8 earthquake rocked the South American nation.

More than 650 people were killed and that number is still climbing, making it the deadliest quake to hit the continent in 17 years.

Severe damage to the country's infrastructure has made survival a struggle for people living in coastal areas.

Among the problems is a lack of international media attention. So, over the weekend, Greta Van Susteren traveled to the country to put a spotlight on the humanitarian crisis going on there.
