Former WWE star Chyna was found dead in her bedroom in Redondo Beach, California.

The death of Joanie Laurer is being investigated as a possible overdose, TMZ reported.

The report stated that police found prescription bottles, but no illegal drugs and there were no signs of foul play.

A friend discovered Laurer and called police after not hearing from the 46-year-old in several days.

Nicknamed the "9th Wonder of the World" during her WWE career from 1997 to 2001, she became the only woman to ever win the Intercontinental title.

She later went into the adult film industry and appeared on a 2005 reality show "The Surreal Life."

Her struggle with addiction was chronicled on the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab" in 2008.

The news of her death was posted on her official Twitter account this morning.

A photo was posted on Monday following her trip to Japan.

Laurer also posted this video to YouTube on Sunday.
