We've got a special new arrival to announce this morning!

Happening Now co-host Jenna Lee gave birth to a daughter, Liberty Josephine Babin, on Tuesday.

Liberty Jo weighed in at 8 pounds, 5 ounces and both mother and baby are doing well.

Jenna shared with us the story behind the name, which dates back to her husband Leif Babin's service in Iraq as a Navy SEAL.

Liberty's name was chosen many years ago, during a memorable phone conversation that spanned thousands of miles and vastly different vantage points.

Her future daddy was deployed to Iraq, calling from Camp Michael Monsoor, a base named in memory of a fallen SEAL Team mate. Her future mommy was standing at the base of Manhattan looking at the Statue of Liberty.

Although her name was pre-determined, her birthdate was not. Liberty now shares a birthday, April 5, with Monsoor.

Her middle name is in honor of her great grandmother.

Jenna and Leif welcomed a son, Trace, in Sept. 2014. The name Trace was given in honor of Marc Alan Lee, a fallen Navy SEAL teammate and friend of Leif.

Join us in congratulating Jenna, Leif and Trace on their beautiful new arrival.
