The Need for Greater 'Human Intelligence': North on How to Keep the U.S. Safe

There are “at least 50 supporters of ISIS” who work at the Brussels Airport, the Belgian police union warned in an open letter.

These workers “have a security badge and have access to the cockpit of a plane,” the memo to the Belgian Interior Ministry states.

Dr. Sebastian Gorka reacted to the new statistic on Fox and Friends Weekend this morning, saying “it's very, very disturbing but it shouldn't surprise us.”

“This is what the jihadis are going to want to do,” Gorka, author of “Defeating Jihad,” told Clayton Morris.

“We have reports in the United States that more than 70 people working for TSA were somehow connected to the terrorism watch list. So, this isn't just a problem in Europe. It's one here.”

Asked how this could have been allowed to happen, Gorka said, “Well, it's a failure of the vetting process.”

Counterterrorism is “not just about technology, it’s about human intelligence,” he added.

“It's clear that the continent is full of individuals who have been recruited or who have been radicalized by groups like al-Qaeda or ISIS, and then not being picked up. There is an intelligence failure.”
