O'Reilly: 'Ultra-Liberal' Policies Have Made Europe 'Easiest Target in the World'

Secretary of State John Kerry's statement that the terror attacks in Brussels are a sign that the fight against ISIS is going well is "ridiculous" and "embarrassing," Mike Huckabee said on "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning.

Kerry said on Friday that ISIS is resorting to actions in the West because their power base in the Middle East is collapsing, a clear indication that we are winning the fight.

"It’s really embarrassing that the secretary of state wants to say that the carnage that we saw in Brussels is the result of us doing something wonderfully right," Huckabee said. "No, it’s a result of a complete breakdown."

The former Arkansas governor explained that Europe, the U.S. and the rest of the world are being naive in believing that ISIS is going away.

"It’s like whack-a-mole, if you hit them in one place, they're going to come up somewhere else," Huckabee said, asserting that the only way to deal with the radical Islamists is to aggressively go after them and eradicate them.

"There is no coexistence here," Huckabee said. "This is a hot mess, and we’re going to have to treat it that way."

"And I thought Kerry’s remarks were totally embarrassing for the United States."
