Franklin Graham: We've Taken God Out of Politics, I Want to Put Him Back In
Rev. Franklin Graham's "Decision America Tour" is rolling across the country, aimed at getting Christian voters to the polls.
Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the son of iconic evangelist Billy Graham, explained on "Fox and Friends" this morning that it's important to put "God's voice" back in politics.
He said that's because he doesn't have any faith in Republicans, Democrats or any political party.
"The only hope for this country is God," Graham said. "We have taken God out of the political debate. We've taken Him out of the public space. And I want to put Him back in."
He said that his bus tour is going to all 50 state capitals and asking people to gather, pray for God's favor and get more involved in politics at the national, state and local levels.
"I want Christians to run for office, and I want them to vote."
