'This Is Not the Vast, Right-Wing FBI': Tantaros Rips Hillary's Excuses in Email Scandal
At a town hall in Iowa last night, a young man asked Hillary Clinton why she thinks so many Americans - particularly younger voters - see her as dishonest and why there isn't great enthusiasm for her campaign.
On "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight, Andrea Tantaros said that Clinton has done little to improve her image as an untrustworthy politician.
The "Outnumbered" co-host pointed out that Clinton has repeatedly changed stances on whether or not she did anything wrong by having a private email server.
Tantaros said that a recent Quinnipiac poll found that the number one word voters associated with Clinton is "liar." That came well before the recent revelations that Clinton's server contained government intelligence more highly classified than "top secret," which goes against comments the former secretary of state had previously made.
Tantaros added that Clinton's claim that Republicans are just trying to inject the scandal into the 2016 race doesn't hold any water, since it's the FBI that's investigating her.
"This is not a Republican conspiracy. This is not the vast, right-wing FBI," Tantaros said. "She is in real, serious trouble with the law."
