'Iran Knows Where He Is': Family of Missing Ex-FBI Agent Joins Greta

Lt. Col Ralph Peters (Ret.) joined Lou Dobbs tonight to react to the Obama administration's negotiations with Iran, including the nuclear agreement and prisoner swap.

Peters said he's not surprised that Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned against U.S. "deceptions" following the negotiations, because Iran's leaders need a "galvanizing, external threat" to keep the Iranian people behind them.

Peters added that President Obama's "awful" nuclear deal with the Islamic republic leaves U.S. foreign policy in the region in a state of paralysis.

"The Iranians are running wild across the Middle East," Peters stated.

If we cannot forestall an action that is directly in contrast to our national interest, then who are we and what have we become? Dobbs wondered.

"We live in an age of lawlessness at the very top of our country," Peters said. "This is a president who, although he claimed to be a constitutional scholar, I don't think respects or much likes the Constitution."

"Our enemies have a strength of will that dwarfs ours."
