Who Won The Fox Business GOP Debates? Analysts React

On "Hannity" tonight, Ted Cruz said that last night's Fox Business Network GOP debate and the entire 2016 campaign are all about voters assessing who has the knowledge, experience and strength to keep the United States safe.

"I think the reason that our campaign is surging, that we're seeing conservatives uniting behind our campaign, is more and more people are coming to the conclusion that I'm best prepared to keep America safe," Cruz said.

He added that national security has taken on particular importance following Iran's detention of 10 U.S. Navy sailors, and the Obama admin's weak response to that act of aggression.

"It encapsulates the weakness and the ineptitude of the Obama-Clinton foreign policy," Cruz said, adding that Americans are fed up with that weakness and ineptitude.

The Texas senator warned that the last year of Obama's presidency is going to be "incredibly dangerous," because every bad actor on the planet has determined that the U.S. president is a lightweight who can be bowled over.

"When the American president is a laughingstock ... it is not good for America. It is not good for the world."
