Who Won The Fox Business GOP Debates? Analysts React

Donald Trump joined Hannity hot off the stage from the Fox Business Republican debate tonight in Charleston, South Carolina.

In a wide-ranging interview, the GOP presidential front-runner explained why he stood up to Ted Cruz tonight in defense of “New York values.”

“I thought Ted’s response was very insulting to, you know, a tremendous … many, many millions of people,” said Trump.

Cruz had earlier said, “Everyone understands that the values in New York City are socially liberal, are pro-abortion, are pro-gay marriage.”

The Texas senator added, “Not a lot of conservatives come out of Manhattan.”

“I love New York, and I love the people of New York,” Trump told Sean. “I’m all over the world now, but it’s based in New York.”

Indeed, asked why the real estate mogul chose to stay in New York all these years despite the comparably high tax rates, Trump responded, “New York is a great place.”

Still, the presidential candidate said, “I think I’ll win states that nobody else can as a Republican.”
