Rev. Franklin Graham: Why I'm Leaving the GOP

Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) went "On The Record" tonight to bash President Obama's executive action on gun control.

Chaffetz said that Obama is unilaterally changing the law, which the president is not allowed to do.

"People are going to lock in and say, 'No, Mr. President. If you want to change the law, you have to go through Congress,'" Chaffetz said.

"For those of us that do abide by the law, guns make us more safe," Chaffetz stated. "This president - [and] the Democrats in general - have done everything they can to try to hamper law-abiding citizens and [make] it more difficult for them, rather than going after the criminals."

Chaffetz said that he believes that Republicans in Congress could work with the administration, but Obama has shown no aptitude to work in a bipartisan way to come up with plausible solutions.
