Carson Says He'll 'Alter' His Campaign; Announcement Next Week
Dr. Ben Carson said on Fox Business Network this afternoon that he will be "altering some things" in his campaign and will announce those details next week.
Neil Cavuto asked whether the changes will include a staff shake-up or a shift in his demeanor or style on the campaign trail.
"I'm not gonna ever be a nasty person. That's just not who I am, but I will point out differences," he responded.
Carson said he wants to make the point that "you don't judge strength by the volume of proclamation. You judge strength by what has been accomplished in a person's life."
Carson told AP last week that "everything is on the table" when it comes to possible changes within his campaign after his poll numbers declined following the terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino.
Cavuto noted that despite the problems in the polls, Carson's fundraising has remained strong.
Carson said he'd "never be associated" with accepting donations from billionaires, like Marco Rubio has done.
And he said the small donors who give money to his campaign are not influenced by the media.
