VA Officials Still Employed After Being Accused of Stealing More Than $400K

The Democratic National Committee has just announced a proposal to have taxpayers come up with the $15 to $20 million they still need to hold next summer’s nominating convention.

The move comes from DNC Chairwoman and Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, just one year after Congress voted to redirect previous convention funding to the research of childhood diseases.

By contrast, the Republican National Committee has said it doesn’t need tax dollars for its convention next year, nor does it support such funding.

The Washington Times reports:

“The DNC is facing tough financial circumstances. The latest report shows it had just $4.7 million in cash on hand as of Oct. 31, less than the $6.9 million in debts the committee reported.”

“What does that say about the party?” Steve Doocy asked.

“If you run the DNC and you have no money, you’ve done a bad job,” said Brian Kilmeade.
