Here's a story that's sure to make you smile!

Cappy was a homeless elderly dog with a litany of medical issues, including fractured hips, severe teeth problems, a large tumor, hook worms, tape worms and fleas. He was also largely blind due to cataracts.

Luckily, he was taken in by Vet Ranch in Texas and given the care he needed to make a full recovery.

They treated Cappy's fur, took him through dental surgery, de-worming and tumor removal. He also received cataract surgery where doctors removed his lenses and replaced them with artificial ones, which restored his eyesight.

The best news of all? After about seven weeks of care, Cappy was adopted into a loving forever home!
