Wife of Calif. Victim: People Were Targeted Based on Their Religious Views
Jennifer Thalasinos' husband, Nicolas, was one of 14 people killed last week by Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik in San Bernardino, Calif.
On "Hannity" tonight, she revealed that her husband, a devout Messianic Jew, was very outspoken about radical Islam and would often have conversations with Farook about Islam and Judaism.
"I know they had discussions about Israel, in particular, and about whether Islam was a religion of peace or not," Thalasinos told Sean Hannity. "I know that they completely disagreed on Israel."
Hannity asked her if she believes Nicolas was targeted by Farook and Malik.
"Yes, I do. Because of my husband being [a] Messianic Jew and because of the discussions, I think the shooter was intending on getting my husband," Thalasinos said. "I also think some of the other people that were killed were also intended targets because of their religious views and because of discussions that they had had with the shooter as well."
Thalasinos said that reports that her husband was helping others in his final moments just go to show what kind of a great person he was.
"The type of person he was, he would be trying to help other people ... My husband was one of the gentlest people you would have ever met."
