“Damn the torpedoes!”

That historic battle cry is etched into the brand-new uniforms the Navy Midshipmen will wear in next Saturday’s Army-Navy football game.

New photos reveal that Midshipmen players will be dressed in a head-to-toe tribute as they step into the big rivalry game, from “battleship gray” cleats down to the same typeface emblazoned on fleet ships.

“The uniform is inspired by and pays homage to seven of the historic ships that make up the U.S. Naval Fleet,” said Under Armour, the brand behind the design.

These ships will be proudly featured on seven hand-painted helmets players will wear as they get into specific position.
