Greta Calls Out Obama for 'Embarrassing No-Show' After Paris Attacks
In her "Off the Record" commentary tonight, Greta Van Susteren said she was hoping President Obama would do something big to show American solidarity with France after the Paris terror attacks.
She noted that he already missed an opportunity earlier this year in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo massacre.
"After that embarrassing no-show, I figured he had to have learned his lesson, and this time he'd make a grand gesture," Greta said. "But no, he didn't."
She added that French President Francois Hollande is flying to Washington, D.C., tomorrow to meet with Obama, when it should be the other way around.
She pointed out that British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel both found the time to schedule visits with Hollande in Paris.
"And want to feel worse? Guess who was the first foreign head of state to show up at the White House after we got attacked on 9/11? It was the French president, Jacques Chirac."
