Fiery 'I'm Not Going to Give Up': O'Reilly Rips Senate for Blocking Vote on Kate's Law
In his Talking Points Memo tonight, Bill O'Reilly reacted to Democrats in the Senate blocking a vote on Kate's Law today.
"The reason the Democrats blocked Kate's Law is that it was attached to defunding sanctuary cities, which the the left does not want to do," O'Reilly explained.
He said that everyone knew that putting both pieces of legislation together would doom the vote, but the Republican leadership foolishly did it anyway.
"That's what makes Americans furious with the political system in Washington," O'Reilly said. "The truth is, politicians are playing games with our safety."
"The Factor" host said that's why Washington outsiders like Donald Trump and Ben Carson are doing so well in the polls, as Americans are fed up with politics as usual.
"When a 32-year-old woman can be gunned down by an illegal felon who had been deported five times, and you can't get a strict law punishing illegal felons passed. When that happens, you really don't have a functioning government," O'Reilly said. "The far-left in America is actively opposing Kate's Law."
"I'm not going to give up ... we will confront the villains, no matter which party harbors them."
