Just days after releasing a viral video of their pregnancy announcement, YouTube stars Sam and Nia delivered the heartbreaking news that they had suffered a miscarriage.

The couple took a day off from posting to their YouTube channel. The following day, they posted a video that revealed the devastating news.

"I have felt my womb empty out,” Nia said through tears. “I never, ever, ever knew women felt that way."

Sam and Nia wrote that there’s a stigma surrounding miscarriages, and that losing an unborn child is something that must be talked about.

“The Bible says to weep with those who weep and to mourn with those who mourn, and I am mourning with those of you who are feeling this," Nia said.

Sam told viewers, “I just hope this video continues to be a way for God to shine his light to the world through us.”

Nearly 11 million people watched Sam and Nia's viral pregnancy announcement, which showed Sam surprising his wife with news of her own pregnancy.
