Hillary's New College Plan Would Cost $350B, Funded by Tax Hike on the Rich
Hillary Clinton announced a $350 billion plan Monday to make college more affordable and reduce the growing burden of student debt.
Clinton debuted the plan at a town hall meeting at Exeter High School in New Hampshire.
It aims to ensure that students can attend a four-year public in-state university without taking out student loans, as well as making community college 100 percent tuition-free
Clinton’s campaign said the $350 billion plan would be paid for by capping itemized tax deductions for wealthy families at 28 percent.
