Surveillance cameras captured the moment when a garbage truck with no one behind the wheel started rolling down a Pennsylvania street, crashing into a number of parked cars.

WTAE reported that the truck's driver stepped out to speak with a supervisor while the truck was idling on 10th Street in New Brighton.

The brakes on the Waste Management truck became "disengaged," sending it rolling down the hill.

The footage shows workers chasing after the truck, as it plows into at least five parked cars on the street.

“Waste Management’s truck came plowing down the hill, got stuck to my mother’s car and pushed it down to 3rd Avenue,” Ferguson told WTAE. “Be more responsible. There could have been lives lost.”
