Mike Huckabee said on "The Kelly File" that Hillary Clinton's email scandal could be damaging to her presidential campaign.

"How does she explain to the American people that she wants to be president so that we can all live under the same rules?" Huckabee asked. "That's going to be a tough sell for her."

He pointed out that a federal judge threatening Clinton with the full weight of the law makes this very significant and very serious.

Huckabee said that perjury is a serious crime, but he added that not following federal records laws and failing to ensure that sensitive national security information is secure are also serious crimes.

"When this federal judge comes after her, it's serious," Huckabee said.
