Mark Levin said this morning on “Fox and Friends” that the conservative base “is thoroughly and completely disgusted with the establishment.”

“We’re sick of Washington, we’re sick of big government,” he said. “We’re sick of candidates who say one thing in Kentucky and do another thing in Washington, D.C. The people are not as stupid as these politicians think they are.”

Levin said that the Democratic Party is “crazier than hell” while the GOP has become the “surrender party,” which just gives up. He said that Ronald Reagan had to bust through the Republican establishment and that he believes a few GOP contenders can do the same, though he declined to name them.

Levin also discussed his new book, “Plunder and Deceit,” in stores now.
