A fiery helicopter crash at an air show left one pilot dead and another injured in the Russian region of Ryazan on Sunday.

The Mi-28 gunship was performing as part of the International Army Games show at the Dubrovichi firing range, around 100 miles southeast of Moscow, according to the Russia Defense Ministry.

Footage of the incident, which was broadcast on Russian state TV, shows four helicopters performing stunts and firing flares, before one helicopter spins down, hits the ground and explodes.

Officials believe the crash was caused by the failure of the aircraft’s hydraulic system.
