Joanne Nosuchinsky has brought a lot of laughs to "Red Eye" and "The Greg Gutfeld Show" in the last few years.
We're still cracking up about her trip to Comic-Con last year! Now she's bringing more of these hilarious reports to the weekends on Fox News.
We caught up with Joanne and she shared some great photos and stories about her childhood, her beauty pageant success and her other projects.
1. I’ve always been a performer.
I studied all styles of dance as a kid, spent a few years on a competition team, and continued practicing pointe until age 17. My teachers always said I had the most expressive faces and would scold me for lip syncing to the music.
2. I’ve loved Betty Boop for as long as I can remember.
Besides wearing her t-shirts when I was little, and donning her costume for Halloween, my parents give me a new Betty Boop ornament every Christmas.
3. I’m obsessed with Black Friday.
For the past 10 years, my older sister and I have turned the day into our own personal holiday. We wake up at the crack of dawn and shop for 10 hours. The deals are incredible. While most people take advantage of the sales to purchase gifts, I choose to spend my money selfishly.
4. I made a big bet on myself.
Most people know that I represented New York in the 2013 Miss USA pageant, but I didn’t grow up doing pageants. The Miss NY USA pageant was my first beauty pageant. I had no real coaching or sponsors. Even my family didn’t think I would win. I paid for everything out of pocket, reasoning that I was investing in myself. Thankfully, it paid off.
5. I perform in an off-Broadway show.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rider University with a degree in theatre. I moved to NYC with big dreams of performing on Broadway. One of my first auditions was for an Off-Broadway show called “The Awesome 80’s Prom.” I performed with that cast for 3 years and am now working on a new project with the same producer. I currently play the bachelorette in “That Bachelorette Show” – an interactive, improv-based production.
