"Cooking With Friends" welcomed Janice Dean and her husband, Sean Newman of the FDNY, to get the recipe for a quick and delicious pasta dish with a great story behind it.

"He's the one that cooks. I'm good at ordering pizza," Janice said.

Sean said that the recipe, Pasta Barnych, is named in honor of a New York City firefighter, Harry Barnych, who died of cancer shortly before Sean arrived at Engine 40/Ladder 35.

This has always been one of the firehouse favorites, Sean said.

"Harry didn't know how to cook when he came to the firehouse, and the guys gave him a hard time about it. So he actually went to cooking school," he explained.
