Police arrested an Arkansas air traffic controller for allegedly being drunk on the job.

Gretchen Carlson reported that Philip Maschek was found passed out in his chair with his shirt off at the Springdale Municipal Airport.

An employee went to go check on the 50-year-old man after a pilot's repeated requests for clearance to land were ignored.

Police say that Maschek denied being drunk and also refused to take a breathalyzer test.

He was arrested for public intoxication and resigned from his job over the weekend.
