Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) weighed in on "The Kelly File" tonight about the 4th of July terror warnings federal officials issued last week.

The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security issued an intelligence bulletin, warning that an attack could happen over the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend.

King told Megyn Kelly that he's never seen this level of concern since 9/11.

"There's always been something coming up, but nothing to this extent," he said. "All the indicators are that ISIS does want to carry out an attack. We know they've had operatives here working in the country."

King noted that there have been five individuals arrested recently in the New York area for conspiring to aid the terrorist group.

"I don't know of any other time, where you've had five individuals arrested in one city in such a brief period of time, at time when all the indicators we're getting ISIS wants to carry out this attack and they're intent on doing it," he stated.

"This is the real deal," King added. "Anyone out there who thinks this is a fake, or just trying to drum up fears, absolutely wrong. You wouldn't see the NYPD doing what it's doing if they didn't have a real concern."

King told Kelly that his concern goes beyond a lone wolf ISIS-inspired attack happening.

"But the real concern more than that, has to be a coordinated attack," he stated. "When you have five individuals in one city arrested within a brief period of time, you have to assume there's coordination."
