'God Is the Hero': Florist Spotted SC Shooter After Seeing Car on Fox News

Roof confessed to killing nine people last week at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C.

The 21-year-old was arrested after florist Debbie Dills spotted him on Highway 74 in Shelby, North Carolina. Dills called her boss, Todd Frady, who called the police to report the sighting.

Frady gave dispatchers detailed descriptions of the gunman's car and his location in the 911 calls. He told dispatchers that Dills was following Roof until police could apprehend him.

The footage shows two officers approaching Roof's black Hyundai after they pulled his vehicle over.

Several officers slowly approached the car, with one officer drawing his gun.

Once Roof got out of the vehicle, he was searched by one of the officers and placed in handcuffs.

The dash cam also captured the remaining officers' moments of celebration after Roof was placed in a police vehicle.

Authorities have said Roof freely admitted who he was, and officers found a black gun beneath a pillow in the back seat of the vehicle.
