Like father, like son: When a North Carolina police officer raised his right hand during his swearing-in ceremony, his 6-month-old son followed suit!

Greenville police officer Phillip Haning had his left hand on the Bible as he raised his right hand to take his oath of office. Baby Nolan, who wasn’t even looking at his dad, then did the same.

A fellow officer caught the adorable moment on camera, and the Greenville, N.C. Police Department shared it to their Facebook page. It has since gone viral.

“I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or what, I just thought it was real special,” Haning said of the moment, adding that he’s a first time dad and that this was captured right around Father’s Day.

Haning also told Brian Kilmeade what it means to him to be a police officer.

“It means a lot ‘cause I’ve always wanted a career where I could make a difference, you know, come home at the end of the day and feel like I’ve accomplished something,” he said.
