VIDEO: You Won't Believe How Many Surfers It Took to Set This New World Record
Surf's up, dude!
A new Guinness World Record has been set for the most people riding a surfboard.
66 surfers rode a wave together on a massive 42-foot, 1,300-pound surfboard over the weekend in Huntington Beach, Calif.
More than 5,000 spectators cheered on the surfers, who managed to stay upright on the swell for 12 seconds.
The previous record was set in 2005 by a group of 47 surfers in Queensland, Australia, the Orange County Register reported.
