A Texas woman is facing charges after she got stuck in floodwaters this weekend.

The 50-year-old woman drove onto a closed-off area of FM 2499 in Grapevine on Saturday, then got stuck in 3-4 feet of water.

Her family rushed to the scene to find her perched atop her Honda Civic after climbing through the sunroof.

It took more than an hour before a dump truck arrived to rescue the woman from her car.

The driver was charged with disobeying warning signs and barricades.

Officials say she was not harmed in the incident and is just embarrassed by the ordeal.
