Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval got himself a one-game benching after he was caught "liking" a woman's Instagram photos during a game.

Sandoval, nicknamed "Kung Fu Panda" during his career, was actually called out on Twitter when a Red Sox blogger posted the screen shots.

Sandoval later admitted he was been on his phone after he left the dugout to use the bathroom during Wednesday's game in Atlanta.

He was then perusing the page of a woman who goes by the Instagram name "diva_legacy."

Team officials decided to bench him for Thursday's game for violating the social media policy, but did not issue a fine.

The "Outnumbered" panel weighed in this afternoon, asking whether Boston's 29-39 record might have something to do with the punishment.

Katie Pavlich and Melissa Francis said it comes down to Sandoval - who signed a five-year, $95 million contract in the offseason - making it look like he's not focused on his job.

Francis said maybe Sandoval could have avoided punishment if the team was in first place, instead of last.

"Instead they are losing, so you say 'why isn't your head in the game? Maybe it's because you're looking at someone's cleavage," she said.
