O'Reilly: SC Church Shooting Is an 'Act of Terror, No Different Than ISIS'
In his Talking Points Memo tonight, Bill O'Reilly reacted to last night's fatal shooting at a South Carolina church, calling it a "bad day for America."
Dylann Roof, the alleged gunman who killed nine people in the shooting spree at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, was apprehended by authorities this morning.
"Apparently he is a longtime racist wearing anti-black patches on his clothing," O'Reilly stated. "Those who know him say he often made inappropriate statements about African-Americans."
"The Factor" host said the deadly shooting "was an act of terror."
"No different than what ISIS and Al Qaeda does targeting civilians because of who they are," O'Reilly stated. "In this case, skin color seems to be the motivator. This is not a tragedy. This is an execution designed to terrorize people just like the Boston Marathon bombing and the mass murder at Fort Hood, Texas."
He asserted that terror acts have "sadly become common the world over, as thousands of human beings are being slaughtered by insane fanatics."
O'Reilly added troubled people often act out against innocent strangers.
