Two planes narrowly avoided collision during takeoff at Chicago’s Midway International Airport on Tuesday.

A Southwest Airlines flight had been cleared for takeoff when a Delta plane began to roll along an intersecting runway without clearance.

Luckily, an air traffic controller quickly ordered the Delta plane to halt.

“Stop! Stop!” the air traffic controller can be heard saying in audio from the incident.

The two planes were about 2,000 feet from the intersection when they came to a stop.

The Federal Aviation Administration is now investigating the incident.
