'I'll Build a Wall and Mexico Will Pay for It': Watch Highlights of Trump's 2016 Address
Hear from Donald Trump tonight at 8/11p ET in a no-spin interview with Bill O'Reilly. Then on Wednesday at 10p/1a ET, "Hannity" will have an hour-long sit-down with "The Donald."
Donald Trump spoke for 45 minutes this morning, officially declaring himself a candidate for President of the United States.
“We are going to make our country great again," Trump declared in a speech from Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan.
Prior to the address, Trump declared nearly $9 billion in assets.
"I'm really rich," Trump said while holding up a financial statement. “And that’s not bragging. That’s the kind of mindset you need. We've gotta make the country rich.”
He slammed Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio for not being able to answer questions on whether the Iraq War was beneficial.
Watch some highlights of the speech above, including Trump's promise that, if elected, he would build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
"I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me. Believe me. And I'll build it very inexpensively. I'll build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words," he said.
