A dispute between Arizona Coyotes fans and the city of Glendale culminated with the mayor agreeing to let a fan tase him for charity. 

The video above shows Mayor Jerry Weiers crying out as the electrical volts hit him in the back. Firefighters were there to catch him as he fell to the ground. 

He was OK after the tasing.

The fan who did the "honors," Ronda Pearson, is a season-ticket holder who had lambasted the city council last week after the council voted to end the team's 15-year arena lease

Weiers said fans could express their anger at the city by tasing him, as long as they raised a $10,000 donation for Arizona first responders.

The arena vote has quickly triggered speculation that the Coyotes will eventually relocate.
