The massive manhunt for two murderers who made a daring escape from an upstate New York prison continued today.

Federal agents, corrections officers and Essex County Sheriff's Office deputies spent most of the day searching for convicted killers Richard Matt and David Sweat. The men escaped from the Clinton Correctional Facility last week after they used power tools to cut through steel walls and crawl through a steam pipe.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said at a press conference earlier today that Matt and Sweat may be headed to Vermont.

Fox News reported that the men got the power tools from Joyce Mitchell, a work supervisor at the prison.

Matt's half-brother Wayne Schimpf told Greta Van Susteren tonight that Matt wont go down without a fight and "he wont be taken alive."

Schimpf pleaded for Matt to turn himself into authorities.

He further stated that "somehow, somewhere there still has to be some thread of human being in him that maybe he might finally listen."

Schimpf shared he would alert authorities and turn Matt in if he tried to contact him.

"I have no desire to help him at all," Schimpf shared. "I want him caught."
