Caitlyn Jenner made her debut last week on the cover of Vanity Fair. This summer, she'll star in a new reality show that chronicles her life as a transgender woman.

When discussing her transition recently with Diane Sawyer, Jenner revealed something else that most people didn't know about her: She's a Republican.

And one GOP candidate is hoping to get her vote.

"I haven't walked in her shoes," Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said in a CNN interview. "I don't have all the answers to the mysteries of life. I can only imagine the torment that Bruce Jenner went through. I hope he - I hope she has found peace."

"I'm a pro-life, traditional marriage kind of guy, but I'm running to be President of the United States. If Caitlyn Jenner wants to be a Republican, she is welcome in my party."
