A new Fox News poll found that 71 percent of registered voters don’t think President Barack Obama has a clear strategy to defeat ISIS.

Charles Krauthammer said that those people are absolutely right. He added that administration officials are “almost willing to admit” that they don’t have a strategy and are just hoping things don’t collapse before Obama leaves office.

“We’re in for 17 months of a fake strategy in which the administration is just hoping that nothing catastrophic happens,” Krauthammer said.

Krauthammer also cautioned against poll results which found that two-thirds of Americans favor doing whatever it takes to defeat ISIS.

“That’s always the feeling before the first casualty, that’s always the feeling before any war begins,” he said.
