Gov't Suggests New S'mores Recipe: No Marshmallows or Chocolate
S'mores... they're an American tradition dating back to 1927, when the Girl Scouts first printed the recipe in their handbook.

They claim kids will still love it, although the chocolate is replaced by strawberries and the marshmallows are out, in favor of low-fat vanilla yogurt.
The graham crackers are allowed to stay though.
The "Outnumbered" panel, with actor Robert Davi, discussed this story this afternoon
Davi said given the problems with childhood obesity, he doesn't see much of a problem with the government making these suggestions.
Sandra Smith pointed out that s'mores are actually not that unhealthy or high in calories.
