Al Sharpton's daughter is suing New York City after falling on some uneven pavement and spraining her ankle.

Dominique Sharpton, 28, says the tumble, which allegedly took place at a city crosswalk last year, left her "severely injured, bruised and wounded."

She is seeking damages of $5 million for "loss of quality of life, future pain and suffering, future medical bills, future diminution of income," according to court documents.

The New York Post reported that the city received 774 such "defective roadway" claims in the 2014 fiscal year.
