United Plane Lands at LAX Without Left Landing Gear
A United Express plane made a hard landing at Los Angeles International Airport today after it experienced mechanical issues.
Video shows that the plane landed partially on its belly. FAA spokesman Ian Gregor told NBC Los Angeles that the plane landed without its left landing gear.
There were reportedly 43 people on the plane. No one was injured in the hard landing.
One LAX runway will be closed for the next few hours as the NTSB investigates.
