The mother caught on video disciplining her son during the Baltimore riots on Monday sat down with Greta Van Susteren for an interview.

The viral video shows Toya Graham furiously grabbing her son’s sweater, yelling at him, and shoving him away from the crowd. The footage also shows her slapping him in the head and ripping off his mask.

Graham told Van Susteren that when she saw her son, Michael, with the rock, she became immediately upset.

"I was so angry that he would be a part of what they were down there doing," Graham said referring to the individuals who pelted police officers with rocks, bottles and bricks.

"I understand my son was angry... [but] two wrongs don't make a right," she stated.

Graham, who has six children and is a single mom, told Van Susteren that she's a tough mother.

"I am not just their mother...I am their friend too," she shared.

Graham remarked that she believes a lot will change in her community.

"As we came together for Freddie Gray, we need to continue doing that for each other," she said.

She added that she hopes to be there for her son if he makes another bad decision in the future.
