Authorities are on the hunt for a driver and passenger who plowed into an 86-year-old woman and fled.

The incident, which was caught on camera, happened in a McDonald’s parking lot in Huntington Beach, Calif. Video shows the moment that a Dodge Challenger backed up and hit an elderly woman.

A driver and passenger can be seen getting out of the car and approaching the woman, then returning to the car and driving off.

The elderly woman suffered head injuries, but has since been released from the hospital.

The driver of the Challenger is described as male, white/Asian, mid 20’s, short dark hair, 6’0 tall with a medium build. The passenger is a female white/Asian, early 20’s, long dark hair, approximately 5’5” tall, with a medium build.

Attempt to Identify Felony Hit and Run SuspectOn Wednesday April 22nd at 1:34 PM, a newer charcoal grey Dodge Challenger struck an 86 year old woman in the parking lot of the McDonalds located at 16866 Beach Blvd (at Rubidoux), knocking her to the ground and causing head injuries. The suspect and his passenger exited the vehicle and approached the victim. The suspect then motioned to his passenger, both re-entered the vehicle, and fled northbound Beach Blvd, leaving the victim lying on the ground.The suspect vehicle is a newer-model Dodge Challenger dark/charcoal grey in color, no front license plate, chrome gas cap and chrome rims. The driver of the Challenger is described as male, white/Asian, mid 20’s, short dark hair, 6’0 tall with a medium build.
