UPDATE, 1p ET: Denise Huskins has been found safe in Huntington Beach, California, according to a report from ABC in Los Angeles.

Authorities say a California physical therapist has been kidnapped and is being held for ransom.

The FBI has now joined the search for 30-year-old Denise Huskins, who was “forcibly taken against her will” Monday, police said.

Henry Lee, of the San Francisco Chronicle, went “On The Record” to report on the status of this investigation.

Lee said that Huskins’ boyfriend reported that she was physically removed from their Vallejo home early that morning, but he did not contact police until 2 p.m. Huskins' boyfriend also said there was a ransom demand and that he was present when Huskins was kidnapped.

Authorities have been tight-lipped on the boyfriend’s status, but they say he’s not a suspect or person of interest.

Huskins is described as 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. If you have any information on her whereabouts, call the police tip line at 707-648-4524.
