O'Reilly: Iraq War 'Was a Victory Until Obama Mucked It Up'
Bill O'Reilly tonight fired back at President Barack Obama's VICE News interview, where he implied that George W. Bush is to blame for the rise of ISIS.
Obama explained in this week's interview that ISIS "is a direct outgrowth from al Qaeda in Iraq that grew out of our invasion." The president also said that the goal is to slowly push the terror group back out of Iraq.
"President Obama went against nearly every general and national security person working for him and withdrew all U.S. combat troops from Iraq," O'Reilly said. "Huge mistake, perhaps the biggest error he has made."
"The Factor" host stated that thousands of people have died in an extremely violent war between Iran and ISIS since the U.S. troop withdrawal.
"Mr. Obama [is] apparently believing that because Mr. Bush violently removed Saddam Hussein, terrorism flourishes to this day," O'Reilly said. "While the Iraq War did indeed cost far too much blood and treasure for America, it was a victory until President Obama mucked it up."
