Gowdy: I'd Be Happy to Show Hillary How to Put 2 Email Accounts on 1 Phone
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, went “On the Record” tonight to sound off on Hillary Clinton’s news conference, where she publicly addressed her email controversy.
Clinton told the public that she only used her personal email because it was more convenient to carry one phone instead of two.
“I don’t know how the president’s able to function,” Gowdy quipped. ”If convenience is the reason that she used one phone, I mean the president’s the busiest person in the world and he manages to preserve his emails, and I don’t think he has his own server.”
Gowdy told Greta Van Susteren, “If [Clinton] wants somebody to show her how to put two email accounts on one phone, I am happy to do it 'cause even I managed to figure out how to do that.”
Gowdy remarked that it sounds like Clinton destroyed emails she deemed personal, but he noted that many emails can be a mix of personal and professional.
“I have no interest in her yoga routine, trust me, I have no interest in that. But I have every interest in public record, whether it’s related to Libya or not,” he said.
