Levin Slams 'Imprisonment President' Obama for 'Making Nice With Iran'
Mark Levin tonight sounded off on a possible nuclear weapons deal with Iran following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “historic” address to Congress.
Levin, who attended the address, compared Netanyahu to Ronald Reagan. He told Sean Hannity that Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats gave Netanyahu “standing ovation after standing ovation,” then trashed him after the speech.
Hannity remarked that President Barack Obama’s former campaign operatives are working to defeat Netanyahu in the Israel elections. He asked Levin: why is there hostility toward Israel?
“Netanyahu is a warrior, he’s a combat veteran, he is a leader who takes his commander-in-chief responsibilities seriously, and he knows if he and his country make a mistake, it’s over,” Levin said. “Barack Obama is a community activist, he’s a rabble rouser, he’s an ideologue, and he’s an appeaser.”
Levin charged Obama with wanting a “like-minded leftist in Israel” to accommodate his agenda.
“Reagan was the liberator,” Levin said. “He liberated hundreds of millions of people under the Soviet Union. This president is the imprisonment president. Society after society is collapsing and he’s making nice with Iran, which is an Islamic terrorist regime.”
Levin said that Obama knows what Iran is capable of. He then read from last year’s Worldwide Threat Assessment from the U.S. intelligence community, which said that Iran has the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the Middle East, plus the means and motivation to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile.
“That hits Europe, that hits the United States,” Levin said. “This is no joke, and I am scared to death with this president in office.”
Levin said that lawmakers must demand that the proposed nuclear weapons deal goes to the Senate and is treated as a treaty which requires two-thirds of the vote, which Levin said Obama won’t get.
Levin warned that Obama will try to evade Congress and said lawmakers “better prepare to do something effective once and for all to try and save our republic, save our Constitution and save their own damn reputations in Congress.”
